The Role:
As a Data Migration Consultant, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data migration activities, from planning and execution to validation and reconciliation. You will leverage your expertise in ETL processes and SAP S/4HANA to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Quality Management: Create, monitor, and maintain data quality rules and metrics.
- SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and migration methodologies.
- ETL Proficiency: Utilize ETL tools (e.g., SAP BODS, Syniti ADMM) to extract, transform, and load data.
- Data Analysis & Mapping: Understand data cleansing, mapping, and reconciliation processes.
- Technical Skills: Understand SAP tables and technical details for data mapping and cleansing.
- Problem Solving: Lead in analyzing data defects, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
- Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, work collaboratively with internal and external teams, and provide status reports.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data migration processes.
- Project Execution: Execute data migration programs and applications.
- Business Acumen: Work closely with the business to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of Data Analyst/Migration experience.
- Experience in at least 2 full SAP implementations as a Data Migration Analyst.
- Demonstrable experience with data quality tools such as BODS, Data Services, Syniti Knowledge Platform, or LMW.
- Experience with Migration Cockpit (Migrate Your Data) is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data integrity.
- Ability to navigate data challenges related to ETL from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
- Advantageous Skills: Knowledge of ABAP, Python, and SQL.
